I always start by listening to you. I want to hear your unique story, what you’ve been through, and where you want to go. Only then can I understand what you most need and what it will take to get there.
In terms of the nuts and bolts, we will begin with a thorough health assessment that I designed. I will then analyze your dietary intake and review your lab results. Based on what I find, I may suggest particular dietary modifications, supplements and/or herbs. But it doesn’t stop there.
We will explore deeper emotional issues that may be keeping you from eliminating (or reducing sugar) and having much better health (e.g. weight loss, blood sugar control, other dis-eases, etc.). I will hold a safe space for you to open up so that we can get to the root cause of your issues. I will then help you integrate the changes you need to make in order to live a healthy, fulfilling life on all levels.
My approach is evidenced-based and results-oriented. I pour through research to have the best information available on hand. At the same time, I recognize that our bodies and minds react to things in different ways. I heed the advice in yoga that you should “listen to your body.” The body knows best despite what we may think or believe. My job is to help your body and mind to do their own natural healing. I will help you to turn your health around once and for all 🙂
